RedHawk Invitational Results
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - The Mississippi College women's track and field team traveled to Southeast Missouri State University to compete in the RedHawks Invitational over the weekend.

Freshman Jessica Gails ran a NCAA DIII provisional qualifying time in the 55m Dash.  Gails finished fourth overall in a time of 7.27.  Jessica also came up big in the 300m Dash, finishing second in 41.34.

Liz Laubenberg ran well for the Lady Choctaws finishing 4th in the 55m Hurdles in 8.60.  Rounding out the top performances for MC was Ivy Price's second place finish in the mile.

"Jessica did a very good job for us, and it is great to see her hit an NCAA mark in her last indoor meet.  She has a chance to make it in the National meet field, we will just have to wait and see now.  I know she will do well if she gets in.  Liz has been consistent in her hurdles all year.  I think she has run 8.60 in her last three meets.  Her best race will come in the spring when she gets back on the big track for the 400m Hurdles."
