Seven Lady Choctaws Earn All-ASC Honors

CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College softball team placed seven players on the All-American Southwest Conference East Division Teams following a division-only vote by head coaches, the conference office announced on Tuesday (May 5).
Sophomore Morgan Harpole highlighted the list with a Second Team selection. The Lindale, TX native batted .300 with four home runs, five doubles, and 28 RBI. Harpole was also a perfect 6-6 on stolen bases and only made one error in 30 chances in right field.
Six Lady Choctaws earned Honorable Mention selections: Lauren Coleman, Jennifer Jones, Lauren Goolsby, Kasey Bomar, Rachel Hurley, and Whitney Warner.
With all seven players returning to the 2010 team, the future looks bright for Lady Choctaw softball.
