CLINTON, MS - 44 student-athletes from Mississippi College are among the individuals recognized by the American Southwest Conference on its Spring 2009 All-Academic honor roll, the league office announced on Friday (May 8). The sports included are baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track and field.

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the spring 2009 season, be in at least the second year at their institution, and carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.

Baseball led the way with 13 selections, with women's track (8) and men's tennis (7) following closely behind.  Women's tennis and men's track each had five student-athletes qualify, while golf and softball had three selections.
