ASC Softball Players of the Week
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College junior outfielder Reagan Jackson was named American Southwest Conference East Division Hitter of the Week for her efforts in a 6-0 week that helped the Lady Choctaws finish the 2009 season on a 10-game hit streak.

Jackson went 8-for-20 with two triples and two doubles for the Lady Choctaws. Jackson also drove in four runs, scored five times and stole one base to help MC end the season on a 10-game winning streak.

Smitherman Named Easton Fastpitch All-American

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The 2011 Easton All-American teams were announced on June 7th and freshman Brooke Smitherman earned a spot on the team. Athletes selected to the Easton All-American teams are those who have had an outstanding season, and who have been stalwarts for their team. Due to the number of deserving candidates who were considered for this award, Easton Sports, Inc. has named "NCAA Division I All-Americans," and "NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III All-Americans."
