Mullins, Deen Named to All-ASC East Second Team

Allie Mullins were named to the All-American Southwest Conference East Division Second Team it was announced on Tuesday (Nov. 10) by the conference office after a vote by the league's 13 head coaches. Deen and Mullins helped lead the Lady Choctaws to their first ever appearance in the ASC Tournament this season.
Deen, a Cocoa, FL native, finished second on the team with 199 kills on 635 attacks, which was good for a .187 hitting percentage. Deen also finished second on the team with 28 service aces on the year and fourth on the team with 220 digs.
Mullins, from The Woodlands, TX, led the team 704 assists and 37 service aces. For Mullins, it was the second straight year she landed on the All-ASC Second Team. Mullins finished second on the team with 242 digs.
The Lady Choctaws finished 13-14 this season and earned the #3 seed in the ASC East, which gave them their first ever appearance in the ASC Tournament.
