CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College volleyball team kept their ASC Tournament hopes alive with a 3-2 win over LeTourneau on Monday night at A.E. Wood Coliseum. The Lady Choctaws need the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to lose one of their final two matches to reach the playoffs for the first time in school history.
The Lady Choctaws won the first (25-19), third (25-13), and fifth (15-9) games with the YellowJackets taking the second (25-22) and fourth (25-15) games.
The Lady Choctaws were led by junior
Megan Deen with 11 kills and only three errors on 37 attacks. Sophomore
Courtney Nordyke recorded 10 kills and only two errors on 32 attacks.

Allie Mullins collected 40 assists and 16 digs in the match. Freshman
Katie Askew led the way with 22 digs in the match.
LeTourneau was led by Kristen Chapman with 14 kills and seven errors in 50 attacks. Kathryn Drinkard paced the YellowJackets with 32 assists in the match.
The Lady Choctaws will finish up the regular season on Wednesday night at 5:00 p.m. at Millsaps against Rust College.
