CLINTON, MS - The American Southwest Conference Council of Presidents announced members of the 2010-11 Executive Committee at the group's annual meeting in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday (May 27). Dr. Lee G. Royce, president of Mississippi College, will serve as president, Dr. Lanny Hall, president of Hardin-Simmons University, as vice-president; and Dr. Joe Aguillard, president of Louisiana College, as immediate past president.

Golf Brochure
CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College Trustmark Classic golf tournament will be held this year at Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison, MS on Friday, May 28. The tournament has become a primary fund-raiser for the Choctaws with all money raised going directly to support athletics at Mississippi College. The grand marshal for this year's tournament with be Art Stevens, President of Trustmark Bank's Mississippi region.

2009 Fall ASC All-Academic Team
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College had 64 fall athletes qualify for the 2009 American Southwest Conference All-Academic Teams it was announced on Monday, November 30th.  408 student-athletes from 15 universities and colleges have been recognized in the sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball.

CLINTON, MS - Former University of Mississippi Chancellor Dr. Robert Khayat was the featured speaker at the annual Billy Joe Cross Wild Game Dinner last Thursday night to support Mississippi College athletics. The event raised $150,000 through the generous support of Choctaw supporters.

Watch "ASC All Access"
RICHARDSON, TX - The American Southwest Conference has partnered with Clear Marketing Concepts in developing a weekly online video production that will highlight student-athletes, coaches, member institutions, games and academics. The show about the 15-member NCAA Division III-affiliated athletic conference will be called ASC All Access and produced every Wednesday throughout the academic year. ASC All Access debuts on Sept. 16.
